Nigerian Musician, Naira Marley, who was dragged to court for alleged internet fraud by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) started his trial today.
The singer arrived the Federal High Court In Ikoyi for the commencement of proceedings on Monday, looking totally defeated. He was arraigned before Justice Nicholas Oweibo, who ordered that he be remanded in Prison custody till May 30, 2019.
Naira Marley pleaded not guilty to 11 count charge levied against him by the EFCC.
His mother was all emotional when her son was handed over to the Nigerian Prison Service for detention until his bail application hearing will be heard.
