Nollywood actor, Ime Bishop Umoh popularly known and addressed as ”Okon Lagos” has come out to defend the policemen charged with rape over commercial sex workers arrested in Abuja.
According to the comic actor who spoke in a short video, he said the policeman should be charged with stealing and not rape because commercial sex workers have already commercialized their body and as such the policemen only stole their goods without paying.
He said it would have been rape if they were not commercial sex workers.
According to the comic actor, rape involves forcefully having sexual intercourse with a lady and also taking away her dignity. He further argued that commercial sex workers do not have dignity and as such rape cannot come into play.
