The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has revealed that it is investigating outgoing Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha.
This was disclosed by Ibrahim Magu, the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC).
“Of course, we are doing a couple of checks and investigations here and there. We are investigating almost everybody,” he told Channels TV recently.
According to the EFCC boss, the investigation has to have advanced to a certain level before details about it can be publicised.
Okorocha, who is currently in court over his certificate of return of Imo west senatorial district being withheld by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will end his tenure as governor on May 29, 2019.
