Senator Ben Murray Bruce who represented Bayelsa East in the 8th Senate says 5 beauty queens had once revealed to

Senator Ben Murray Bruce who represented Bayelsa East in the 8th Senate says 5 beauty queens had once revealed to him that they were sexually abused as children.

The former lawmaker who runs a beauty pageant industry in Nigeria said this while reacting to the rape allegations against Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, by Busola Dakolo.

The lawmaker said he was talking to six beauty Queens when five confided in him that they were raped when they were children. He, therefore, argued that the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly(COZA) senior pastor must be made to face the full wrath of the law if found guilty.

In a series of tweets on Friday, Been Bruce wrote: I am deeply saddened and I stand in solidarity with Busola Dakolo. To put in perspective the enormity of rape crime in Nigeria, one day I was talking to 6 beauty queens, 5 opened up to me that they were raped as children.

I further call on the Government to show more support for rape victims. We currently do not do enough to support rape victims.
