President Muhammadu Buhari’s side on social media, Lauretta Onochie has said that Nigerians should rather be calling for the arrest of Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo rather than asking him to step down from the pulpit.
The presidential aide said this on Sunday while reacting to #Churchtoo movement, a protest that was organised against the pastor over allegations of rape, by Busola Dakolo.
Speaking via Twitter on Sunday after, Onochie said that Nigerians should be demanding for the pastor, to be invited for questioning by the police and not for him to step down because “he was never a pastor”.
What I don’t understand is why Nigerians are calling on the alleged rapist, Biodun Fatoyibo to step down as a Pastor.
Pastors are above board and above suspicion. He was never a Pastor.
What we should be doing, is calling on the @PoliceNG to invite him for questioning.
