Ahead Of His Rematch, Anthony Joshua Visits Nigeria For The First Time

British-Nigerian professional boxer, Anthony Oluwafemi Joshua recently paid a visit to his motherland, Nigeria, after many years of being away.

The former IBF, WBA, WBO heavyweight champion touched down with an entourage at the Murtala Muhammed Airport in Ikeja, Lagos, on Thursday, July 11, 2019.
Fans, who were excited to meet the heavy-weight champion, trooped the airport to get a feel of him.
Although, the purpose of his visit is yet to be revealed, the Nigerian-born British boxer’s sister, Janet took to her Instagram account to appreciate the home-coming of her beloved brother.
She shared a video of him at the airport with the caption;
“Welcome home my dear brother 🇳🇬❤️ May the Lord almighty uphold you. Strengthen you and be with you.
