Senate president Ahmed Lawan has said that the time where people who are invited to the National Assembly will not show up is over as his administration would not tolerate such.
He made this known via his Twitter handle on July 30th.
What he said:
The time where people would be invited to the National Assembly and will not show up should be over.
Once a minister is invited for oversight or any committee activity, my advice is that such a minister attends to the committee because we are going to be firm and serious with our oversights.
