Abba Kyari, President Muhammadu Buhari’s Chief of Staff has stated that Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) Presidential Candidate during 2019 presidential election was not born a Nigerian, and as such is not eligible to contest for the presidency.
Kyari stated this while testifying at the presidential election tribunal on Tuesday in Abuja.

Buhari’s Chief of Staff further explained that Jada area of Adamawa where Atiku was born as on November 25, 1946, was still part of Northern Cameroon and also referred to as French Cameroons at the said time.
Kyari submitted by saying every child born at that time in Jada automatically becomes a Cameroonian.
