President Muhammadu Buhari has replied a letter written by former President Olusegun Obasanjo on the worsening state of insecurity in the country.
The former president in the letter dated July 15th, urged Buhari to rise to the occasion and tackle insecurity in order to stop the country from shifting into war.
This president, however, speaking with national executives of the Buhari Campaign Organisation (BCO) at Aso Rock on Tuesday, said those criticising the “isolated cases” of insecurity in the country are not patriotic.
Although, the president didn’t mention nor quote Obasanjo, it was easy to infer that he was referring to the former president.
He noted also that no country in the world is devoid any security challenge as banditry and kidnapping happen regularly elsewhere in the world.
