Doctors in India have performed a medical procedure on a man, identified as Yogesh Thakur who was said to have swallowed 33 metal objects, including razors and knives.
The doctors were able to remove the objects from the stomach of the 30-year old man.
Thakur was admitted to the hospital on July 14 after he complained of severe stomach pain.
His mother, Kusma Thakur, had complained to the doctors that her son would ‘grab anything and eat it’, leading them to conduct x-rays on him.

Doctors were amazed to find objects such as a knife, screwdriver, razor blades and plastic items inside Thakur’s stomach.
The objects were taken out in an operation two days later.
Thakur, who is a part-time farmer, is now recovering and will receive psychiatric help.
According to the doctors, the young man suffers from acuphagia, a disorder in which people eat sharp or metal objects and other items they can’t digest.
