Lauretta Onochie, President Muhammadu Buhari’s aide on social media says witnesses present during the time of the murder of Funke Olakunrin, daughter of Pa Reuben Fatoranti, leader of the Yoruba socio-political group, Afenifere suggests assassins did it.

The presidential aide wonders why Yinka Odumakin, is misleading and pointing investigators towards Fulani herdsmen.

Odumankin, a spokesperson of the Afenifere group had accused Fulani herdsmen of being responsible for the attack on their leader’s daughter.

“When they started with the kidnapping process, they started with Olu Falae, a prominent leader in Akure.
“Whether deliberately or intentionally, this is clearly a declaration of war on the Yoruba. They shall hear from the Yoruba nation, ” he said in a statement.

Onochie, in a tweet on Sunday via her Twitter handle, said that police must invite and question Odumakin to determine his motives.

She wrote: Those who witnessed d murder of the daughter of Pa Reuben Fasoranti, Funke Olakunrin, suggest it was either by a criminal armed gang or assassins.

The @PoliceNG should question Yinka Odumakin to determine his motives for misleading and pointing investigators to Fulani herdsmen.
