Chief Akin Oke, chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, has made it known that he will only assess Governor Seyi Makinde’s performance in office after the latter’s first 100 days in office.
Oke stated this on Thursday in Iseyin, adding that he doubts the competence of Governor Seyi Makinde to govern the state.
In his words;
“I will wait till then. As at today, I have my serious doubts and reservations on whether he is capable or not,” he said.
The APC Chieftain went on to say he was shocked and surprised by the N10 billion loan approval sought by the governor.
Recall the State House of Assembly on Tuesday had approved the N10 billion loan requested by the governor. Makinde in his request revealed that the loan would be used to revitalise the state’s infrastructure deficit.
