Senator Elisha Abbo, the Nigerian lawmaker caught on camera assaulting a woman in an adult shop will be arraigned in court on Monday.
The police have filed charges against the lawmaker, representing Adamawa North Senatorial District under the Peoples Democratic Party, and will appear before the Court this afternoon.
Although the lawmaker had on July 3 admitted to the incident and rendered a public apology, police say his recorded admission of wrongdoing apology would put him in an awkward situation in court.
