A Twitter user @dollycent has recounted how he woke up to meet a hospital bill of $245k — which translates to a whopping N88m in Nigeria currency — after 5 days in coma, and another 7 days in Intensive Care Unit.

According to the user, he is more than grateful to God for surviving the incident, not minding the huge bill he has to settle.

On this exact day in 2011, I got drowned. And after 5 days in an unconscious state, 7 days in ICU. I miraculously woke up to a $245k medical bill. Thank God I survived
