Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo state has dared those he described as ‘Abuja politicians’ to come and take over the Edo State House of Assembly. Governor Obaseki, who queried where those politicians that joined in the struggle to create ‘Let the people lead’ mantra suddenly disappeared to.
A former minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode and a former presidential aide, Reno Omokri have both reacted to reports that the Department of State Security, DSS, has invited the leader of the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, Ralph Uwazuruike.
According to the report, the MASSOB leader has been invited to the Owerri office of the DSS allegedly over a viral video where Uwazuruike, asked Ndigbo to “come together and resist the planned RUGA Settlement”.
Governor Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara state has lamented that the last administration messed everything up in the state. According to the governor, there is massive rot in all sectors of the state, saying the decadence will take years to fix. He, however, assured everyone that his administration will expend N11.2 billion in revamping the infrastructure in the state’s schools.
Nigerians have taken to their Twitter handle to launch a scathing attack on Aisha Buhari, wife of the president, for directing the Inspector General of Police and everybody to get involved in the allegation of rape levied against Biodun Fatoyinbo, the senior pastor of Coza, by Busola Dakolo. Nigerians, while reacting to her call, have asked her to start her campaign from the North.
