Nigerians have taken to social media to lament over the Supreme Court judgement which affirmed the victory of Isiaka Oyetola as the winner of the last Guber election in the Osun State.
The Supreme Court, in the lead judgement delivered by Justice Bode Rhodes-Vivour, had ruled that the absence of the judge who read the majority decision of the election tribunal, Justice Peter Obiorah, on one of the hearings, rendered the entire proceedings a null and void.

Many social media commenters, they faulted the ruling of the apex court because it had denied Osun people their mandate, because of the absence of a judge — Which is no fault of the plaintiff or the people.

In my own (non legal view), this case was rigged again at the courts.
The absence of the judge was not caused by the legal team of the plaintiff(Adeleke)
The Judge's absence was an error by the court, so why use that to punish or deny Adeleke of his mandate?
