The former minister of health, Prof Isaac Adewole had taken to Twitter to announce that he was hosted to dinner by the World Health Organisation(WHO) in recognition for his ‘modest contribution to the health sector.’
Adewole was the former minister of health during the first tenure of President Muhammadu Buhari from 2015 to 2019.
The former minister tweeted: “The World Health Organisation @WHONigeria hosted me to a dinner in recognition of our modest contributions to the development of the health sector.”

It appears the announcement, rather than intrigue, annoyed Nigerians to a great extent as they took turns to fire shots at the ex-minister.
According to most of the commenters, the former minister failed woefully during his tenure as health minister and deserves no recognition.
