RUGA: PDP Chieftains Reacts As DSS Invites MASSOB Leader

MASSOB Leader, Uwazuruike

A former minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode and a former presidential aide, Reno Omokri have both reacted to reports that the Department of State Security, DSS, has invited the leader of the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB,  Ralph Uwazuruike.

According to the report, the MASSOB leader has been invited to the Owerri office of the DSS allegedly over a viral video where Uwazuruike, asked Ndigbo to “come together and resist the planned RUGA Settlement”.

In the video message, Uwazuruike could be heard asking Ndigbo across the globe to “unite and stand against the planned RUGA Settlement”.

The People’s Democratic Party(PDP) chieftains, in their reactions via Twitter, faulted the DSS for the invite, saying the security agency was yet to invite or arrest AbdulAzeez Suleiman and his Arewa Group, who threatened the lives of Southerners with a 30-day ultimatum over RUGA.

Omokri tweeted: “DSS invites Uwazuruike over his comments against RUGA and the Coalition of Northern Groups’ threat. Yet, the same DSS did NOT invite the Coalition of Northern Groups who threatened Southerners with “decisive action”. General @MBuhari will DIVIDE Nigeria.”

Fami-Kayode tweeted: “How can DSS invite MASSOB leader Chief Ralph UWAZURIKE over a video broadcast calling on the Igbo to resist RUGA whilst a Fulani terrorist called AbdulAzeez Suleiman and his Arewa Group, who threatened the lives of Southerners with a 30-day ultimatum over RUGA, are walking free?”
