Ghanian singer, Shatta Wale has dedicated his latest feat of being featured in Beyonce’s Lion King to the president of his country, Nana Akuffo Addo.

The controversial dancehall artiste made this known on his Twitter page.
He tweeted:
“I dedicate this honour to his excellency @NAkufoAddo even though krom ayeshi”
Several celebrities including fellow colleagues, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, M.anifest have sent congratulatory their messages to the singer.

Information Nigeria recalls Shatta Wale alongside a bevy of other prominent African artistes were featured on Beyoncé’s ‘The Lion King: The Gift’ album which is set to debut on 19th July 2019.
Beyonce revealed that she wanted a collection of songs from different genres that express what she’s trying to pass across.
Social media users have taken to the platforms to express their joy over this amazing feat.
However, some have raised questions on why Nigeria Superstar, Davido was not featured, while popular Kenyan artiste, Victoria Kimani shared her thoughts on the exclusion of Kenyans on the project saying it is depressing.
