The lawmaker who represented Bayelsa East in Senate during the 8th National Assembly, Ben Murray Bruce says Silverbird Group will be the first company in the country to have electric cars.
The former lawmaker and CEO of Silverbird group made the announcement via his Twitter handle on Saturday.

According to the Ben Bruce who spent his last days in the Upper Legislative Chamber advocating for electric cars in the country, he has given a company-wide directive that new cars to be purchased should be electric cars.
He tweeted: I have just given a company-wide directive that all new vehicles purchased on behalf of Silverbird Group will be electric vehicles. We are going to be the first company to go all green. Also, we will not issue any car-loan for any staff except they want to buy an electric car.
