An undergraduate of University 0f Benin, simply identified as Ephraim, committed suicide on Sunday after jumping down from a storey building within the citadel of learning.
According to reports, he was said to have jumped down from B series of the Faculty of Arts.
The deceased is said to be a 300 level student English and Literature department of the institution.
While it is unknown why he took his own life, police have started investigations into what could prompt him into taking such move.
