1 AFCON 2019: Super Eagles beat South African To Meet Algeria In Semifinals

The Super Eagles of Nigeria won the Bafana Bafana in their quarter-final match, 2-1, in the ongoing AFCON 2019 in Egypt. The Nigerian team will be facing Algeria in the semifinals for a place in the final on Sunday 14th of July 2019.

The professional boxer, Joshua, who lost his WBO, IBF and WBC heavyweight belts to Andy Ruiz in America, was welcomed by DJ cuppy and Uriel of Big Brother reality TV show.

4 PDP Alleged Its Witnesses Were Attacked By Gunmen

The Proceedings of the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal in Abuja was halted on Friday following the claim by the Peoples Democratic Party and its presidential candidate in the February 23, 2019 poll, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, that their witnesses scheduled to testify were attacked on their way from Zamfara.

5 Chief Reuben Fasoranti’s Daughter, Funke Olakunrin, killed By Suspected Herdsmen

Funke Olakunrin, 58, the daughter of the leader of the pan-Yoruba socio-cultural organization, Afenifere, Chief Reuben Fasoranti, was shot dead by gunmen suspected to be kidnappers in Ore, headquarters of Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State.
