Lauretta Onochie, President Muhammadu Buhari’s aide on social media has made some not-so-pleasant comments against former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Onochie, who was reacting to a headline on Vanguard newspaper, quoting Iyabo Obasanjo, daughter of the former Nigerian leader as saying “Dear Daddy, You don’t own Nigeria.”
According to the presidential aide, Iyabo is very right, but must pardon her dad because of his age.
In reply to the headline, Onochie tweeted, “Very True, Madam Iyabo. But you must pardon your father. Ageing has different effects on people. Some become wiser and more patriotic with age. Others become confused and self-centred. He needs special care. Thank you.”
