Ibraheem El-Zakzaky, leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), is on his way back to the country after barely four days in India.
According to TheCable, a source close to El-Zakazaky revealed this, adding that the federal government frustrated his treatment in India.
El-Zakzaky and his wife had departed Nigeria to India aboard Emirates Airlines on Monday. They were accompanied on the trip by officers from the National Intelligence Agency as well as his family members.
Barely three days in India, the Shiite leader raised an alarm over the conditions at the Indian hospital where he is being treated, saying it is worse than Nigerian prison.
But in a swift reaction, the federal government stated that the IMN leader violated the conditions for which he was allowed to travel to India, pointing out that El-Zakzaky wanted to check into a five-star hotel in India rather than a hospital.
