Drug Trafficking: 20 Anambra Indigenes On Death Row In Indonesian Prison — Abike Dabiri

Abike Dabiri-Erewa,  Chairman of Nigeria Diaspora Commission, has shared that during a recent visit to an Indonesian prison, she discovered that 21 Nigerians were on death row and 20 were from Anambra state alone.

She further explained that only one came from Edo state.

She made this known during an interview with The Cable, an online new platform.

Her words:

“We went to Indonesia prison some years back, 21 Nigerians were on death row, and 20 were from one state – 20 were from Anambra state, and one from Edo.

“And when you get to the (Indonesian) airport, it is written all over, “penalty for drugs is death”.
