A new report has it that the Federal Government has postponed the partial closure of portions of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway to September 2nd.

In a statement by the Federal Controller of Works, Lagos, Mr Adedamola Kuti, the postponement came after many complained about the inconvenience they would experience during next week’s Eid El Kabir festival, as well as during the annual convention of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.

Kuti further revealed that the postponement will enable the Federal government to make adequate plans for effective traffic management when the closure finally takes effect.
