Reno Omokri has shared a lengthy post on his Instagram page, calling out Redeemed Christian Church of God RCCG Pastor E.A. Adeboye for failing to be vocal in Buhari’s administration.
Reacting to Adeboye’s comment, Reno, in a post on his IG page, said if Adeboye had spoken up when other Nigerians were abducted, maybe his clergymen would not have been abducted.
Reno made particular reference to Leah Sharibu whom he said Adeboye has never spoken publicly about.
Recall Information Nigerian reported Pastor Adeboye announced 5 clergymen were abducted by unknown gunmen on their way to attend the church’s minister’s conference holding in Lagos.
Reno reacting to Pastor Adebayo post said:
I am rather disappointed in Pastor Adeboye. Under former President Jonathan, RCCG and Pastor Adeboye were very PUBLICLY vocal about insecurity. But under General Buhari, both RCCG and GO Adeboye lost their voice. Today, Pastor Adeboye is calling for prayers after gunmen abducted 5 RCCG pastors. In 2015, under Buhari, an RCCG pastor, Eunice Elisha, was killed in broad daylight in Kubwa Abuja. NOTHING happened to her killers. Absolutely NOTHING. Pastor Adeboye also did not PUBLICLY challenge the Buhari regime then. The coffin carrying the corpse of a stranger looks like firewood. It only becomes real when it is carrying the corpse of your relation.
You see, EVIL can only thrive when GOOD men, like GO Adeboye, are SILENT.
