2023 Presidency: I Am Not Tinubu’s Campaign Coordinator: Senator Sani

Senator who represented Kaduna Central in the 8th Senate, Shehu Sani has distanced himself from claims that he is the North campaign coordinator for a certain Bola Ahmed Tinubu presidential aspiration ahead of 2023. Sani who spoke during an interactive session organised by the correspondent chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists FCT Council said he has no knowledge of Tinubu’s presidential ambition nor being made his coordinator in the North.

BREAKING: Gunmen Attack Police Station In Enugu

Gunmen were said to have attacked Ikirike Police Station in Enugu on Sunday. Confirming the incident, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Ebere Amaraizu, stated that the gunmen stormed the station pretending to be in distress and then launched the attack.

Death Of 17 Admission Seekers Painful: Governor Abdulrazzaq

Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has lamented over the death of 17 students in an auto crash on their return from Kano State. The governor described the auto crash which occurred last Thursday as sad. The accident was said to have occurred at Bacita junction on Jebba/Ilorin highway, Moro local government area of the state, involving an 18-seater Toyota Hiace passenger bus and an articulated DAF container truck. The two vehicles had a head-on collision at a bend on the highway, in what was described as a clear case of dangerous driving and overspeeding.

The First Lady of Kogi State, Hajiya Rashida Bello has donated the sum of N1,000,000 to an Instagram artiste, Named Bright Chukwu Dike. It all started when the budding artist, made a Potrait of the Governor’s wife and tagged her with a touching caption; the image also attracted a lot of people that kept on tagging the First Lady.

I Was Shocked When My Name Was Missing On Buhari’s Ministerial List: Adebayo Shittu

Adebayo Shittu, the former Minister of Communication, says he was shocked when President Muhammadu Buhari’s ministerial list, didn’t include his name. The former minister said this during an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja, adding that he didn’t also expect that he would not be reappointed, as a Muslim, he took it as his fate.

Buhari Departs Abuja For Japan Despite Nnamdi Kanu’s Threat

President Muhammadu Buhari has departed Abuja for Japan to participate in the 7th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD7), despite threats by the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra(IPOB). TiCAD7 will be holding in the City of Yokohama from the 28th to 30th, August, 2019. The IPOB leader had in statement instructed his members to disgrace and arrest Buhari when he visits Japan so that he would pay for the alleged crimes of mass murder he committed in 2015. Buhari, however, left Abuja Sunday evening and was accompanied by the governors of Kwara, Borno and Lagos states.

Police Arrest Atiku, One Other For Stealing

The Lagos State Rapid Response Squad, RRS, has paraded a robbery suspect, Saidu Atiku, and an accomplice who specialized in vandalizing and stealing brainboxes of cars. Confessing to the crime, one of the suspects, Sodiq Musa, said he needs only four minutes to dismantle and steal a brain box.

Strange Military Equipment Intercepted By Nigerian Army In Adamawa

Nigerian soldiers in Adamawa State have intercepted some mine resistance vehicles that may have been brought into the country without due process. Military personnel attached to the Nigerian Army 23 Armoured Brigade in Yola, seized the equipment in Fufore Local Government Area and according to them, the Nigerian Army were unable to instantly verify the ownership of the equipment, as well as where they were being taken to and where they were from.
