Reno Omokri, a former presidential aide has lambasted the president for sealing of the venue where Wole Soyinka and Femi Falana were billed to speak on insecurity in Nigeria.
On Monday, policemen from the Lagos state command were seen at the different strategic locations were the event was to hold.
In his reaction, Omokri said the president didn’t shut down the venue where Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria(MACBAN) held a meeting explaining why they killed Nigerians — But was quick to shut down the venue for the Nobel Laureate.

In a tweet on Monday, he wrote: Herdsmen who STEAL, KILL and DESTROY, held a meeting in Zamfara to explain why they decided to kill Nigerian citizens, and General @MBuhari did not shut down the venue. But he shuts Soyinka’s venue. Imagine! Anyway, Soyinka’s is reaping what he sowed
