
Adams Oshiomhole, the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressive Congress(APC) has opined that Omoyele Sowore, the convener of RevolutionNow and Presidential candidate of the African Action Congress,(AAC) decided to stage the protest after failing to win the 23rd February 2019 presidential election.
Speaking with newsmen shortly after a meeting of the APC National Working Committee (NWC) with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, he went on to condemn the protest, saying it lacks merit.

He concluded by saying every Nigerian has a right to protest but it must be done accurately and articulately.
