President Muhammadu Buhari has revealed that he named the Abuja National Stadium after the presumed winner of the June 12 presidential election, M.K.O Abiola because he knows that generations who didn’t meet the late business mogul would have questions to ask as regards why such an important national monument was named after him.
Buhari further explained that this would help in preserving his memory from generation to generations.

He made this known while receiving a courtesy visit of senior elder statesmen from Ogun state led by Governor Dapo Abiodun.
