1,177 FUOYE Staff Go Against ASUU, Register With IPPIS

No fewer than a thousand teaching and non-teaching staff of the Federal University, Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), on Tuesday, registered with the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS).

This was made known to newsmen after the completion of the exercise by a delegation from the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation (OAGF).

According to the leader of the delegation, Mrs. Ebiere Ejikeme, the registration was in conformity with the directive of the federal government to incorporate staff of universities across the nation into the new payment system.

This is coming as a surprise development to many, considering the stance of the Academic Staff Union of Universities on the new payment system.
