Recall that on Monday, Justice Yusuf Halilu said “every available evidence” had proved that Maryam “fatally” stabbed her husband to death in Abuja on November 19, 2017.
Reacting to the ruling, the former minister expressed his sadness at the whole situation that transpired.
Going further, the former described the whole situation as a tragedy, as he queried about the children’s welfare.
See his tweet below:
First the wife stabs the husband to death in a fit of jealous rage and now she has been sentenced to death by hanging. This is so sad! Who will take care of their children now? What a tragedy!
