The House of Representatives has asked the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu to appear in the green chamber over the increasing extra-judicial killings across the country.
The resolution of the House followed a motion of urgent public importance sponsored by Deputy Whip, Nkeiruka Onyejeocha (APC-Abia), Reps Ozuruigbo Ugonna (PDP-Imo) and Princess Miriam Onuoha (APC-Imo).

The lawmakers who sponsored the motion expressed that extra-judicial killing is now a recurring theme by the police and personnel of other security agencies, hence, there is a need for explanation from the police chief.
