Iran has carried out a ballistic missile attack on airbases housing US forces in Iraq, in retaliation for the US killing of General Qasem Soleimani.
More than a dozen missiles launched from Iran struck two air bases in Irbil and Al Asad, west of Baghdad.

This is coming following the tension between Iran and the US over the killing of Iran’s military leader which has led to public threats from the two countries.
Number of casualties as at the time of filing in this report is still being accessed according to the United States president, Donald Trump.
