President Muhammadu Buhari has summoned a meeting of the members of the National Security Council on Thursday.

This was made known by the Special Assistant to the President on new media and communications, Tolu Ogunlesi on his twitter handle.

All the security chiefs are reportedly at Aso Villa for the meeting. The meeting is believed to be in connection with the increasing violence across the nation.
Recall that the Senate Minority leader, Senator Eyinnaya Abaribe called on the President to resign over the insecurity situation in the country.
