Abdullahi Ganduje

Security around Kano Government House has been tightened after the Supreme Court’s verdict that affirmed the election of Abdullahi Ganduje,Ganduje, as the duly elected governor of the state.

According to the  News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) security was also beefed up in other parts of the city to protect lives and property.

Security operatives were also said to have been deployed in and around the Emir’s palace road as well as other strategic locations.

NAN reports that the measure was to ensure that people go about with their normal businesses.

Meanwhile, hundreds of APC supporters have thronged the Government House, immediately after the court verdict in jubilation, chanting victory songs.
