United States To Place Nigeria, Six Other Countries On Visa Restriction

According to the Wall Street Journal, the United State is planning to place Nigeria Belarus, Eritrea, Kyrgyzstan, Myanmar, Sudan and Tanzania under stiff travel restriction.

However, the countries would not face outright ban but would have restrictions on some visa types such as business or visitor visas.

Also, the report also indicated that some countries could be permanently excluded from participating in the diversity visa lottery program, which awards green cards to people in countries with low levels of immigration to the U.S.
