The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2019 general election, Atiku Abubakar, has revealed why violence and killings persist in Nigeria.
The former Vice President pointed out that the failure of the judiciary to ensure that perpetrators of crime are punished are responsible for the continuous killings in the country.
The former Vice President revealed this in a statement through his Media Aide, Paul Ibe.
Atiku while reacting to the recent attacks in Plateau and Taraba States, called on the justice system in the country to punish perpetrators of crimes according to the gravity of their crime.
He commended the military and other security agencies for their efforts in fighting against insecurity.
