The Defence Headquarters has labelled human rights group, Amnesty International as a sponsor of terrorism in Nigeria.

This statement was made when the Defence Headquarters reacted by condemning a recent report released by Amnesty International (AI) on activities of the Nigerian army in the North-East region.

Amnesty International alleged that troops of the Nigerian army razed down villages and unlawfully detained locals in a rescue operation in its’ report.
Reacting to this, Defence Headquarters’ Acting Director Defence Information Brigadier General Onyema Nwachukwu, accused the group of deliberately supporting the acts of terrorism perpetrated against Nigeria by the Boko Haram and the Islamic State of West African State (ISWAP) terror groups.
Explainig further, the spokesperson of the Nigeria Military accused the group of undermining Nigeria’s Military campaign against terrorism in the North East.
I don’t trust those international NGO since from the beginning, because they are always first before you in your country, pls Nigeria army you have our spot, we say no to those who are trying to destroy our fathers land

This thing had been happening for long, our security operators are there doing nothing to stop then. When ever the terroris launch an attact they will start shouting but when our security personel destroy their camp they will start making complain that innocent citizen where killed.
