A commander of Amotekun, a security outfit, on Monday, appeared before the Ekiti state house of assembly, dressed in traditional war regalia.
The Amotekun commander was said to have visited the house to attend a public hearing on the outfit and give his submission on the security initiative.
The Ekiti Assembly had earlier passed the Amotekun bill transmitted by Kayode Fayemi, the governor, into law.

The security outfit which was initially launched as a regional outfit was later adopted as a state effort following a series of consultations, including a meeting with Mohammed Adamu, inspector-general of police.
