A Twitter user @mrOdanz has shared the story of how his colleague’s father who died was not buried by the officiating pastors of the church he attended because he failed to pay his tithe three years before he died
Since he shared the story, many web users have been sharing their experiences in reaction to his revelation.

He wrote:
“A colleague’s father died and their church (name withheld) is refusing to officiate the burial. They claim he stopped attending the church and paying tithe 3 years ago. And if the church must bury him, the family has to pay all the tithe he didn’t pay in the last 3 years.”

Lol. My dad’s church where he birthed and dedicated all his seven kids refused to come bury him cos they hadn’t seen him months prior to his death plus he died in December and they said they didn’t want bad news to disturb their December programmes 😏

My oldest was a faithful member of his southern Baptist Church in Texas. When he almost lost his life to drug abuse and crawled his way back to sobriety, they refused to support him. When he came back a war hero, they refused to attend his homecoming.
Church is a scam. Period.
