Former lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani has commended the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed on his plans to digitize the National Television Authority (NTA).
Recall that it was earlier reported that the minister appeared in the Senate to request for $500m loan for NTA to be able to compete with international stations, such as CNN.

Reacting to this situation, the former lawmaker commended the minster. He, however, urged the minister to also ensure that the staff are paid like their CNN colleagues.
