A 36-year-old Prophet identified as Temidayo Afolabi has been arrested by the Lagos state police command for defiling, a 13-year-old church member inside his office built within the church premises.

Afolabi who is the Pastor of a Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Kings of Kings parish in Ipaja, Lagos, reportedly had sex with teh girl several times warned her against telling anyone.

Luck ran out on him when the girl’s elder sister caught him in the act and reported the incident to their mother.

Afolabi who has since been transferred to the Gender Section of the Police Command confessed to the crime saying he had only slept with the victim about five times before being nabbed.

He had taken advantage of the minor after inviting her family to come and live with him in the church premises following the death of their father.

He said he uses his office to perpetrate the bad act so that he will not get caught by his wife.

Lagos State Police Spokesperson, Bala Elkana confirmed the arrest and added that the suspect will be charged to court after investigation has been concluded.
