Former lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani took to his Twitter handle to advise the federal government on how to integrate repentant Boko Haram members into society.
The FG has been releasing former Boko Haram members who have undergone the deradicalization program under the military’s operation safe corridor program back into the society.
Reacting to this development, the former lawmaker expressed that the only way to prevent these people from going back to carry arms is by providing jobs or capital for them.
See his tweet below:
Repentant BH members released to the society should be provided with jobs or capital in order to preserve or guarantee that repentance.
