Former lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani has commended the plans of the federal government to support the entertainment industry with N7billion.

The former lawmaker from Kaduna expressed that the initiative to inject such amount into an industry that has contributed a lot to the economy and culture of Nigeria is a welcome development.

However, the former lawmaker urged for caution in the disbursement of such an amount, expressing that the money should be guided by professionals in order to avoid falling into the hands of politicians.
