Former lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani has spoken on the recent Boko haram Attack in the Auno community of Borno state.

The former lawmaker advised the Federal Government to take Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Zulum’s comment about the insurgent attacks in Auno seriously.

Boko Haram attacked some travelers in Auno town, Konduga LGA along the Maiduguri-Damaturu highway, killing 30, abducting some more and burning their vehicles on Sunday night.
The governor who spoke at the scene of the incident, berated the military for not drafting soldiers to protect the town that has witnessed at least six attacks since his inauguration less than a year ago.
However, taking to Twitter the former lawmaker condoled with the families of the victims and told the Federal Government to take the governor’s words seriously and take practical steps to prevent a recurrence.

The FG should listen to what Governor Zullum said on the tragedy in Auno and take the practical steps towards ending this violence;The observation will be useful since it didn’t emanate from activists,Northern Elders or the opposition who are always ‘politicizing the issue’
