ASUU Threatens Indefinite Action After Warning Strike

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has urged the federal government to address the concerns of members of the union within the two weeks warning strike or face a prolonged industrial action.

On Thursday,  the union described the Minister of Finance and the Accountant General of the Federation implementing the Integrated Personnel Payroll System (IPPIS) as high priests of corruption.

ASUU also lambasted the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Education, Sunny Echono as the latest federal government appointed liar on IPPIS.

The Union Ibadan Zonal Chapter challenged the permanent secretary to inform Nigerians what is the percentage of lecturers in the fake statistics of enrolees on the IPPIS.

The union went further to express that if their demands are not met, they are ready to embark on an indefinite strike.
