Popular human rights activist, Deji Adeyanju has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to stop what he described as false imprisonment of former Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi.
After his dethronement on Monday, the former Central Bank of Nigeria Governor was banished to Awe Local Government in Nassararwa State.

Pictures of the new residence of the former Emir in Nassarawa has surfaced online and it has led to questions on the freedom of Sanusi on social media.
Joining in on the topic, Adeyanju pointed out that the governor, Abdullahi Ganduje doesn’t control the security forces, hence, he urged the president to ensure the former monarch get his freedom.
