Reno Omokri, a popular social media commentator and former presidential aide has stated that foreign flights that leave Nigeria since the first case of the deadly coronavirus virus was confirmed in the country now get sprayed with insecticides along with the passengers onboard.

Speaking via his official Twitter handle, Omokri called on the Nigerian government to start doing same because what is “good for Africans is also good for Europeans.”

He wrote:

“If foreign airline fly out of Nigeria, they ALWAYS spray the plane and passenger with insecticide. Nigeria must insist that each plane and passenger flying from Europe and Asia into Nigeria, must be treated with #CoronaVirus spray. What is good for Africans is good for Europeans!”
